St. Luke's Episcopal Parish

From Anniston, Alabama

I received an email today from the Sequim Gazette with the pictures and artice on dolls for Haiti. I hope you all had a chance to see the article.  It was a great example of the outreach and care of the people of St. Luke’s.

This has been a interesting class here at the Center for Domestic Preparedness. The Federal Government has brought together Public Information Officers from around the country for a week of advanced training. The days are long, but we are learning alot about communication, media and getting the right message to the right people so that the public can make good decisions during an emergency.

In many ways what we are learning in this area has implications for ministry as well.

It is raining here and last night we had thunder and lightning…quite an experience.

God Bless and I will see you on Sunday.

Fr. Bob
